More boxes!

Boxes continue to arrive as we continue to get ready! Grateful because I mustered the strenght to carry all these heavy boxes, by myself, as I work towards reaching my goals relentlessly!

We Made The News

Today, we made news! The Garden District area, among other areas, flooded again. Fortunately, our building fared relatively well considering what happened on July 10 of 2019 and Maude Varela Gallery will re-open sooner than later!!

Moving Along .... Slowly!

I was expecting the demolition, remediation and renovation job to be completed by August 2nd. Unfortunately, this whole ordeal has dragged longer than expected. Grateful because the Universe is showering me with the patience that I need to maintain my sanity. #365DaysOfGratitude#Day221

A Huge Set Back!

Last week was beyond hectic! Maude Varela Gallery was baptized with water from the heavens and dirt from the New Orleans' ground! It is a huge set back but we'll be back stronger! Extremely grateful for the support that we have received from our new property management company at 1205 St. Charles Ave. Brent Couture and his staff, with Certain Management, handled this matter like pros! Within hours from the flooding, on July 10th of 2019, Brent hired Promaster Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning and they sucked all the water out from our gallery and the rest of the building. By the end of the day, all the water was out of our building and the electricity was back. Special thanks to the new Vice President of our association, Richard Folse, and David Eshnaur, our new treasurer along with Howie Thompson and another members of our association who worked tiredlessly to bring this building back and save it from Barry. Seeing Howie, Richard and David knee deep inside of the catch basin and the flooded basement restored my faith on this association and the future of our building. Thank you very much!!!

Feeling The Love

These four lovely ladies, walked inside of Maude Varela Gallery, randomly, while strolling down St Charles Ave in New Orleans, Lousiana. Our gallery is not 100% yet. Nevertheless, we feel the love. Grateful for all the support that we are getting as we progress and grow into our greatest and grandest vision.
